Why select a Mauritius vacation

While Mauritius is surely an extremely famous tourist destination, it's still relatively not known in some parts. Actually, while the Indian Ocean island may be exhaustively covered in the media as an excellent traveler destination, lots of people are nevertheless ignorant of the arguments that ensure it is such a fantastic choice. There are actually indeed several reasons behind the island's reputation as a tourist destination, whether for couples or families. All these have contributed to turn the tourism industry into one of the country's biggest resources.

The primary reason for selecting a Mauritius vacation is the fact that the little island delivers some outstanding beaches. The island has become dubbed as "Paradise island" mostly due to its beaches and its excellent climate. You must be aware though that Mauritius does have a winter season, but the latter is not as cold as the ones in Europe or Asia and is therefore quite bearable for visitors. The Mauritius beaches are quite remarkable, and there is an extremely diverse selection with over a dozen greatly acclaimed beaches.

A further excellent reason for deciding to go to Mauritius rather than your other potential places is the fact that there are so many things you can do there (although the beaches should be sufficient anyway). Contrary to other similar destinations such as the Seychelles and the Bahamas islands, Mauritius is actually very developed and boasts a thriving lifestyle. There are several big malls in the island that are always packed and some cities are completely dedicated to providing entertainment for tourists. Mauritius also boasts great night clubs with a great ambiance that are always popular with tourists and the locals and are always full of people dancing to the latest Mauritian music.

One more reason for going on holiday to Mauritius is the fact that there are numerous places and points of interest to see. The Casela Bird Park is a good excuse to discover lots of animals you never even knew existed, and there are other parks that cater to everybody's preferences. The island also provides some outstanding museums that will take you back in history and will enthrall those tourists who adore taking pictures of archives that beautifully tell a nation's history.

Lastly, a very important factor that's often overlooked is the fact that Mauritius has a very diverse culture. It belongs to the few countries that boast a really multicultural population as the latter is made of people whose ancestors originate from various countries. Most of the Mauritian population is also fully fluent in both English and French, which means tourists will find it very easy to talk with the locals.

Paradise Cove is a popular 5 star Mauritius hotel and is great for couples.
